2009 BTC Practice Summary

We’re pleased to announce the 2009 BTC Practice Schedule.  We hope it helps with your annual training plans.

Coached Swim#1 [ more ]

  • 12 weeks – Wednesday -  Jan to Apr
  • minimum of 10, maximum of 12
  • cost per person : $100
  • objective : building your base

Open Swim#1 [ more ]

  • 12 weeks – Sunday – Jan to Apr
  • cost per person : $70 or $6.50 per swim
  • objective: practice Wednesday night sessions at your own pace

Coached Swim#2 [ more ]

  • 10 weeks – Wednesday – Apr to Jun
  • minimum of 10,  maximum of 12
  • cost per person : $85
  • objective: preparation for the race season

Open Swim#2 [ more ]

  • 9 weeks – Sunday – Apr to Jun
  • minimum of 10, maximum of 12
  • cost per person : $50 or $6.50 per swim
  • objective: practice for the Wednesday night sessions at your own pace

Tri-camp [ more ]

  • 2 days
  • Sat Apr 18 – Sun Apr 19
  • min of 10, max of 15
  • cost per person : $70 (swim-bike-run) / $50 (bike-run)
  • objective: hey … are you ready?  the race season starts in 6 weeks!

Tuesday Interval [ more ]

  • 15 weeks – May 5 – Aug 11
  • 6-8pm
  • led by Colin Edwards
  • minimum of 10, maximum of 15
  • cost per person : $50
  • objective: performance improvements

Fancy Lake – Thursday [ more ]

  • 16 weeks – May 7 – Aug 20
  • 6-8pm – practice starts at 6:30
  • open to all members
  • objective: intro for newcomers, opportunity for veterans to work their program

Coached Swim#3

  • 11 weeks – Wed Oct to Dec
  • minimum of 10. maximum of 12
  • cost per person : $70
  • objective: work on the bad habits you learned thru the summer race season

Open Swim#3

  • 10 weeks – Sun Oct to Dec
  • minimum of 10, maximum of 12
  • cost per person : $60 or $6.50 per swim
  • objective: work at your own pace
