Further to our proposal for the next step after our spring tri-camps, we are pleased to offer the following, 10 week practise schedule.

OVERVIEW : Ex-pro triathlete Colin Edwards is currently living in Lunenburg and has agreed to coach a 10 week, intermediate level, triathlon training practise on Thursday nights from 6-8:30pm.

After a few delays getting everyone’s bike/trainer setup on the in-field of the Gus Vicker’s Track in Lunenburg, we got underway just after 6:30pm.

    WARM-UP
    - easy spin
    - 20min warm-up run
    - spin
    – 10min at 90rpm
    – 5x(1 min @120 / 1min @90)
    – 5x(10 sec as fast as you can spin, 50 sec @90)

    MAINSET
    - 3x (5min spin@Zone 4, transition to 800M run ZOne 4)

    COOLDOWN
    - spin 5min easy
    - run 5min easy

The practise finished at 9:05 as the sun went down and the blackflies came out.

This practise would be an excellent format for winter training at the new Fieldhouse.
